Diversity, equity and inclusion at PwC

Building on a culture of belonging

Our purpose starts within

We know that the future success of our firm is contingent on equitable experiences for our people. From recruitment to partnership, we’re working hard to give every person an equitable opportunity to grow and to thrive as part of our community of solvers. We understand that establishing and maintaining a fair, equitable and welcoming environment for all people requires building a culture of belonging: a shift from awareness to empathy — while demonstrating inclusive leadership that cultivates trust among our people and our clients.

Our people’s success is contingent on equity of experience

We support our people at every step of the way

Our diversity, equity and inclusion strategy is more than a series of programs. It’s as nuanced as the career journey itself. We invest in our people continually to provide comprehensive and inclusive benefits. Our strategic interventions aimed at increasing diversity and representation are leveraged at key moments within our people’s progression to provide support, opportunities and a sense of belonging.

Start internship is uniquely designed for high-performing college sophomores and rising juniors who self-identify as members of traditionally underrepresented minority groups in the professional services industry, including protected veterans and/or individuals with disability.

Our FY22 Purpose and Inclusion Report

Transparency lies at the heart of trust, and our Purpose and Inclusion Report aims to provide just that: the work we’re doing, how much we are achieving and where we are (for now) still falling short. It offers metrics on our commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion, as well on our commitments to the environment, social responsibility and our own governance. It shows too that when we bring our people, capabilities and technology together in line with these commitments, we’re not only helping our clients build trust and deliver sustained outcomes, we’re also bringing our purpose to life.
