Step 2: Your application

As you prepare to apply, check the requirements below, as some of our positions have application deadlines.

When to apply

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. For most of our opportunities, we recruit on a rolling basis, which means when our roles open, they will fill up as offers are accepted.

*PwC reserves the right to accept applications after the deadline.

Where to apply

After the application

For most entry level roles at PwC, job seekers are required to complete an assessment to be considered for the role. After you submit an application for an entry-level position, you should expect to receive the assessment via email within a few hours. You must submit your application and complete the assessment in order for you to be considered by PwC. Please keep this timing in mind as you prepare to apply. We strongly encourage you to complete the assessment as soon as possible.

Step 3: Prepare for your interview

Our recruiting process allows you to get a feel for our culture, our people and available opportunities. If you are selected for an interview, we’ll reach out to you to schedule live, virtual interviews with PwC professionals.

The application process FAQs

How do I search for available opportunities? Visit pwc.to/entryleveljobs to view available positions. For example, to search for open summer 2024 opportunities, type “summer 2023” or your preferred start year into the “keyword/job ID” search bar at the top of the page.
Can I apply to more than one position? Please limit yourself to two applications. If you’ve identified more than two positions of interest, we encourage you to do further research and narrow your focus.
What does it mean if a position says “Winter” in the title?

Internship opportunities labeled “Winter” run January - March and require full-time availability during standard business hours Monday-Friday. We do not recommend being enrolled in classes while completing a winter internship.

Associate opportunities labeled “Winter” will typically have a start date in January. These are full-time opportunities available only after you’ve completed your degree.

PwC’s application asks me to “Provide the date you expect to complete the degree requirement listed within the job description” - what does that really mean?

Eligibility for PwC’s entry level opportunities are, in part, dependent upon when you plan to complete any consecutive years of education and will be eligible to begin working full-time. Within your application, you should provide your final graduation date, taking into account any graduate degree programs you plan to attend or have attended.

For example, if you are currently in an undergraduate degree program but intend to enroll in a Masters program immediately following completion of that degree, please put the date that you would expect to complete your Masters degree in your application.

How do I select my preferred work location? As part of the application process you will be asked to confirm your office preference. Please select the PwC office location closest to your current or planned primary residence. Visit pwc.to/us-offices to review the list of PwC US offices.
How do I submit my application? Review all opportunities and then click on the link for the position(s) in which you’re interested. After reviewing the position(s) in further detail, select "Apply" if you would like to apply and submit your interest. Do not submit your resume on your school/university career website. Please note that winter internships are full-time opportunities.
Will I need to provide a current resume? Yes, you will be asked to upload a current resume when applying. Resumes should be submitted as a PDF to maintain formatting.
Do I need to submit a cover letter? You are not required to submit a cover letter alongside your resume as part of the application process.
What is rolling recruitment? For most of our Trust Solutions (Audit Services and Tax Services), Products and Technology and the Start Internship opportunities, we recruit on a rolling basis, which means when our roles open, they will fill up as offers are accepted.
Is there a deadline to apply?

For Trust Solutions (Audit and Tax Services) Products and Technology and the Start Internships, we encourage you to apply during the preferred application window.

For Consulting Solutions and Products and Technology, applications should be submitted during the preferred application window.

Does PwC’s application process include an assessment? Yes, for most entry-level roles at PwC, job seekers are required to complete an assessment to be considered for the role. The following entry-level positions do not require a job seeker to complete an assessment: senior associate intern and senior associate full-time positions; seasonal and fixed term positions; and specialist roles.
I'll need H-1B sponsorship now or in the future - how does that impact my application? PwC currently is not hiring experienced or entry level job seekers who will need, now or in the future, PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth here.
